Cryoskin 2.0 FAQs

1. How does Cryoskin 2.0 work?

The treatment works by triggering the phenomenon of apoptosis of fat cells. This is achieved without risk to the other tissues (in particular muscular tissue) because the intracellular electrolytes of the fat cell are the first to crystallize in cold temperatures. This crystallization causes the fat cell to self-destruct.

2. Is Cryoskin 2.0 safe?

Yes, it is very safe. The actual device used is controlled by a computerized system hat constantly measures and controls the temperature in real time. Temperatures are displayed continuously on the device screen and any deviation from optimal temperatures results in an alert tone and generates an error message on the display.

3. What are the benefits?

The greatest benefit of CryoSlimming with Cryoskin 2.0 is a significant reduction in fat mass. An average of 38% of fat mass in treated areas was eliminated in test subjects. Additionally, significant increases in micro-circulation and collagen production are recognized as being restorative for tissues.

4. How does it feel?

The treatment can be rather pleasant, warming a first and then a gradual, but rapid, decrease in temperature. At the end of the treatment, the thermal shock appears very quickly, which gives a feeling of warmth and lightness.

5. How often can I do it?

Treatment intervals are recommended to be 15 days. As fat cells die, waste is formed. This waste is naturally eliminated by the body through the circulatory and lymphatic systems, finally being expelled in urine. These systems must be allowed time to evacuate this waste without being overloaded.

6. Is there recovery time involved?

No. The procedure is non-invasive.

7. How soon will I see results?

Some results will be immediately visible, but optimal results are most common after 2-3 weeks.

8. How large is the area treated?

To allow the body to effectively deal with the waste produced when fat mass is eliminated, total treatment area per session is limited to approximately the size of a sheet of paper. Total area may be split between two or more areas (half on each leg; abdomen and ‘love handles’; right and left side of the back).

9. How does the Cryoskin 2.0 facial work?

Using thermotherapy, Cryoskin 2.0 rejuvenates and smooths the skin. Gently massaging and cooling the skin, Cryoskin 2.0 –
• Increases the oxygen and nutrient supplies to the skin
• Firms muscle tissue that retracts with the cold
• Can be expected to last several months after just a few sessions

10. Should some people avoid Cryoskin 2.0 treatments?

Individuals with the following conditions should avoid treatment:
• Allergies to cold
• Pregnancy
• Reynauld’s Syndrome
• Cancer
• Strong diabetes
• Uncontrolled high blood pressure
